Some asshole put this screw in a tree – I don’t care if they were stringing up lights or tacking some stupid “swap box” to it – no excuse that’s what DEAD trees are for (two-by-four’s).
Maybe they were trying to tap it for syrup… people do that sort of thing around here in Ottawa…

Can't say I've ever seen a swap box attached to anything but a street post (which would fall in the 'dead tree' category).
