They’re doing some construction at the back of the hospital. Actually, they’re doing construction all over the hospital, it’s bathing in the lotion that is construction. I particularly like it when I’m in a meeting in any of the offices in the background and you just stare down into this gapping hole; I bet this […]

I just picked up the Canon 70-200mm f/4 L Telephoto Zoom, so I’ll take a picture of just about anything right now. This is the mommy plant to this one here, as a smoke bush, the clouds sort of look like wisps of smoke to me.

I think it’s the same guy as this: But what I like even more is that I’ve seen it here. edit: Surprisingly I didn’t know as much about Bob Dobbs and the church of the subgenius as I should have.

Moira wanted me to post the original, unprocessed version of this photo. Not to say I did a lot of work on this, I obviously didn’t, but without a crop, some saturation, and some more random *magic*, I wouldn’t feel good about posting what I had. I don’t even think the original is the same […]

I’m glad they took out the moving walkway at Spadina station. I understand that at Airports people need a bit of help moving their luggage, but the walkway here just seemed a way of moving calories to your butt. You also don’t get stuck behind the slow ones as easily anymore.

I’ve gotta get out and take more pictures.

Does anyone remember Vice Magazine’s Do’s & Don’ts Feature? They took random shots of random people and commented on them based on style and flavour. So what do you say this is? Do, or Don’t?

$12 down and $2 weekly? That’s my type of bling!

Not seeing your good friends often enough is a condition of getting older. Though it’s really telling *who* your good friends are when you see them; it’s like nothing’s changed. Ernesto’s been bit by the shutterbug as well lately, but his true art and craft is percussion, it’s a great example of what you can […]

Moira’s friend Michael suffered a terrible loss yesterday. It’s times like these that make you thankful for who you’ve still got in your life, while praying for those who feel they no longer have such providence.

Apparently the top of this tree has an anomale named a “broom.” it’s when the tip of the tree gets all hard and the wood is bigger at the top than at the bottom. I went to the Henry’s photo show this past weekend which proved to be a fruitless effort: 1.Henry’s is expensive 2. […]

Moira’s friend Olivia is a pretty cool chick, though the first time we met she was pretty put off. See, in those days, I was a super-cool comic book store manager, working with a bunch of young hot girls who all wanted a taste. So Moira brings ‘Liv in to see the cute boy manager […]

This is one of the pics from the first day I had the Rebel. It wasn’t *actually* mine at the time, it was Paul’s, but he wasn’t getting it for a month, so I slapped on the Canon 60mm and had some fun. I think the best thing about it is that Aaron did the […]

Restless and longing to take more pictures than just my own Arm, I made a break for it at the pit stop to take some shots of an abandoned/no longer in use house. I don’t know why, prime location overlooking the highway, lovely interior (the same shack that this shot was taken). This picture is […]

Oh man, I laugh and I laugh…

Dont’ head East of Yonge street too often; y’know, except for work.

Everyone has these amazing shots of fall in action. The first beautiful colour I saw this fall was from the small smoke-bush in our front lawn. Since I’ve been jones’ing for another lens, I wonder what else I could have shot this with? Paul’s Macro 60mm? Attila’s 70-200 f2.8 IS?

Moira picked these never to-be ripened perinatal butternut squash, nestling them to her bosom as I tore their umbilical asunder. Moira is a staunch pro-lifer, she believes that every life, is a life that should see the culmination of its gestation. That anything less would be barbaric and murderous. To see her protect these bulbs […]

It’s been a while since I was downtown, so scoping out the back alleys was nice with the Rebel. I didn’t see anything that *blew my mind*, but after living in Weston for a while you welcome more than a straight-forward tag. Hell, even basic squigles can be cool if given enough character.

Moira had said she was a bit disapointed with the other one from a few days back but the whole reason I did it like that was because I spent a tonne of time on this one and I wasn’t happy with the results. But I’ll let everyone else decide which one they like best.

Okay, so I gotta tell ya, I see these things out there behind a restaurant looking like bird feeders. Except that they’re not; they’re bee and fly traps. Can you see how it’s done? I opted *out* of climbing on top of the liquid grease waste bucket to get a closer shot, I think I’d […]

I *heart* stencil graffiti. I don’t even care what it looks like, I just appreciate its existence.

This is what you get for having parties at your house. Luckily, I have an idea who did it.

You really never know what’s going to happen when your friend starts stuffing pink balls in his mouth.
