I’m finding these underpasses fascinating – though I’m not sure if anyone else out there is, lemme know what you think in the comments and if this is boring, I may just change direction a bit sooner.
I walk to work every day, but one of the best things about my course is that there are MANY routes I could take without compromising my timing. Since Ottawa’s a new city to me, photographing everything comes a bit more naturally than it did in Toronto – I’m not biased by what I’ve already seen. These past few series have photos have been shot in the underpasses of “The Queensway” the main highway intersecting Ottawa from East to West.
Aside from one, I’ve taken all of these at a 16×9 ratio on my LX3 and done some minimal adjustments in Lightroom.
Sorry Justin, the last few just aren't my thing. I liked DBONE but the other two lack a focal point or pizzazz or a real odd flavour all of which I look for in your photos
Love the series. I find underpasses fascinating too. It's like the outside inside, and they're so friggin heavy.
