I wanted to try and space out my interior design & build projects from last year a bit to help showcase some of the amazing interiors that some of my clients have been producing. The team at Grassroots Design & Build were hard at work on some stunning projects, showcasing some fantastic creativity in relatively small spaces.
Our first home-owner was an avid “canner” and needed a lot of open space when making their preserves. Lots of storage and open shelves also help put the supplies away when finished. Opening into a simple dining room, the live-edge wood table stands out against the dark blue tones.
Other spaces in the home were also updated, a back extension was finally finished with a great mural, shelves, a small powder room, and the upstairs bathroom was re-done with a free-floating tub and vanity.
We also worked in a tight Lindenlea kitchen, a very similar space to this one. To accommodate the large refrigerator and without the benefit of a pantry extension, the dividing wall was not opened up, which helped with stove placement and storage. I also love the large countertop leaving room for a workspace and tiny home-office.
