Today I leave for a country that lives almost entirely “off the grid”, or at least they’re on the grid, but the *grid* as it is, is quite different. Iceland is, as far as I know, run mostly on geothermal energy; that’s hot. 1 day – landing tomorrow morning

Dana Banana seems to be displeased with every photo I’ve ever taken of her. I think this one’s good, it’s honest and candid (as are many of my shots), her smile is genuine and I think she’s quite lovely – though she’ll have you believe otherwise.What does everyone else think? 3 days

I bought myself one of these and it’s working pretty well. Attila over at thinsite said I’d get extra geek points for buying a wifi skype phone – now it’s time to rake those points in and trade them for scotch.

I don’t think I took a particularly great shot of this house or anything, but I do admire it for it’s classic feel, beautiful birch trees, and stature in the neighbourhood.

I’m dying to get out and take some photos, I believe a roam is in order today. You’ll notice the site change (unless you’re reading this through a feed, in which case I’ve just made your photos bigger) it’s all thanks to Pixelpost 1.6 – first class from now on kids.
