This is my submission for Shrued-esque photo of the week. If you haven’t checked out Jonathan Greenwald’s site you should, if you live in Toronto or New York, chances are he’s taken a picture of you at random at some point.
A day late for father’s day, but the caption for this one would read something like:“Dad, when I grow up, I want to be just like you…”
0 days +1 I’ll be hiking and camping in Iceland for the next two weeks, and I don’t plan on making any updates (tragic, I know) – I hope you have my RSS Feed bookmarked, unless you still don’t know what that is, in which case you should find out, for when I come back.
0 days – and I’m gone and I will try again today. My plane was “delayed” and by delayed I mean it was on the runway for so long I was still in Toronto when my connecting flight was leaving New York.I’m glad my day and time are virtually worthless because otherwise I’d be pissed […]
Today I leave for a country that lives almost entirely “off the grid”, or at least they’re on the grid, but the *grid* as it is, is quite different. Iceland is, as far as I know, run mostly on geothermal energy; that’s hot. 1 day – landing tomorrow morning
Though this weekend was composed of 4am “starts” I did manage to snag a sweet deal on Monday. I had a golf cart to myself (the weather was beautiful), and I drove around taking photos of the Women’s Health Golf Classic for Sunnybrook. The only thing missing was the limiter taken off of the cart […]
Dana Banana seems to be displeased with every photo I’ve ever taken of her. I think this one’s good, it’s honest and candid (as are many of my shots), her smile is genuine and I think she’s quite lovely – though she’ll have you believe otherwise. What does everyone else think? 3 days
Andrew Knapp’s inspired me to play around with tones a helluva lot more this past little while. Edit: see B&W version here 4 Days
I don’t actually know whose cat this is, I just shot it cuz it was looking my way, like the ladies; always looking.
I bought myself one of these and it’s working pretty well. Attila over at thinsite said I’d get extra geek points for buying a wifi skype phone – now it’s time to rake those points in and trade them for scotch.
Do you know who I am?How Important I am? Not actual quotes, but you get the idea – We’re all trying to get home lady, the driver’s distressed enough as it is. It took me almost two and a half hours to get home yesterday; that’s like halfway to Ottawa.
Okay, so spending the weekend in Quebec just blew my mind. Why is Ontario’s provincial flower so completely prolific *outside* our province. I am stunned.
I stepped in a pool of water this weekend wearing my new waterproof hiking boots – they proved to be true and didn’t let the wet in. Sadly the bottoms of my *not*-waterproof jeans were damp for the rest of the day. Hopefully pleasant thoughts of the lovely weekend will help those whose week turned […]
Kid, don’t change. Do you know how hard it is to rock a mowhawk? And he’s seriously doing it too – why can’t I be asian? Asian guys can do everything, break-dance, kick-box, program computer-ey-things, math (abacus)…
I don’t think I took a particularly great shot of this house or anything, but I do admire it for it’s classic feel, beautiful birch trees, and stature in the neighbourhood.
Okay, so tonight I’m going to attempt to process photos for the long weekend (in Canada – look it up) while slightly inebriated. Let’s see if they turn out!
WTF? This sink ebbed and flowed like the tides. Motion activated and (likely) highly wasteful, if you didn’t have to go pee going into the washroom, you certainly did once you got there. Also speaking of WTF, what happened in America’s Next Top Model last night? Jasline? That doesn’t make sense, she was *manish* and […]
Demon’s get all the chicks. Maybe it’s luck, maybe it’s force, whatever it is there’s a strong possibility I’m envious.
One of my favourite features of my backyard are the flowers that come up on my crab-apple tree; flowers are cool – cliche’s be damned.
These self-portraits can be really tough, luckily I was able to close the shutter with my gigantic unit.
I take the camera absolutely everywhere I go, I don’t care how long I’m going, or even what I think I “might” see; there’s always something that you haven’t seen before. For this shot, I was walking down the street to get my dry cleaning, nothing more than that, but I stopped and popped off a […]
I’m dying to get out and take some photos, I believe a roam is in order today. You’ll notice the site change (unless you’re reading this through a feed, in which case I’ve just made your photos bigger) it’s all thanks to Pixelpost 1.6 – first class from now on kids.
